Shipping Information
Shipping within the United Kingdom
Old Barn Leather uses Royal Mail Tracked Service for all normal delivery of its items. For shipping within the United Kingdom, this usually takes 2 to 4 working days.
Please allow 7 days before you notify us that you think your parcel has been delayed - especially at busier times of the year.
When the weather is poor and at busy times of the year, delivery times may be longer so please allow at least 10 days before notifying us that your parcel may be delayed or lost.
As soon as your parcel has been posted to you, I will send you an email and will include the tracking number for your parcel so that we can both keep track of its journey.
If you require immediate delivery, please let me know and I will arrange Royal Mail’s fastest service(usually Guaranteed Next Day Delivery). There may be an extra charge for this service.
Shipping outside the United Kingdom
Old Barn Leather ships routinely to Europe and to the following countries:
Zone 1 - Canada, Japan, China, South Africa
Zone 2 - New Zealand and Australia.
Zone 3 - USA
Old Barn Leather uses Royal Mail Tracked Service for all normal delivery of its items to the above countries.
Shipping to the above countries takes between 7 and 28 days.
Shipping time to these destinations can also be season and weather dependant and delays often occur around busy times of the year.
Bear in mind that customs clearance may delay delivery of your package. This is outwith the control of Old Barn Leather and we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by customs.
Shipping outside the United Kingdom can incur duties and taxes and these vary according to the destination country.
Old Barn Leather cannot bear the responsibility of these taxes so it is a good idea to check what duties and taxes may apply before placing an order.
If you live in a country not listed above, shipping charges to you may vary but I will let you know what charges and delivery times apply at the time.
General
If a parcel is returned to us because it was unable to be delivered, we will email you and let you know. Postage for re-posted items will be at the customer’s expense.
If you request a specialist courier or parcel service (Parcel Force, UPS, Fedex etc), be aware that extra postal expenses are passed on to the customer.
If you live in a remote location, remember that courier services may charge extra for delivery to your destination. This is completely beyond the control of Old Barn Leather.

Customs & Duty
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
Old Barn Leather cannot be held responsible for delays due to customs.
For international deliveries and also for insurance purposes, a rough description of the contents of your parcel must be recorded on the postage slip attached to your parcel. Of course, I will be as discreet as possible if your parcel is a gift to be delivered to anyone other than you.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns and Exchanges
For items purchased from my shop that have NOT been personalised, I accept returns and exchanges only if the item has been found to be defective in some way.
All my products are photographed for my portfolio prior to dispatch, so if there is anything you are not completely happy with, do email me and I will do my best to arrange a resolution or a return or exchange.
I cannot exchange products that have been personalised or made according to your explicit instructions.
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value.
Any refund due will only be carried out once Old Barn Leather receives the returned item.
For returns, please contact me within THREE days of the delivery date (this date will be accessible through the tracking number which I will send to you once your order has been shipped).
Your item must be returned within SEVEN days of the delivery date.
