When you are commissioning a journal cover, you may wish to make use of Old Barn Leather’s design service. If you have an image that needs to be completely resized or added to, or if you wish me to create a design from scratch, a design fee will be applicable.

If you wish to use this service, please add the appropriate design fee (see below) to your basket.

I will email you as soon as I receive your order and then you will be able to email me back with further details and attach any design images that might help.

During the design process, we will be in regular communication as I draw your design and layout. At this time, based on the design images we exchange, you can add and change things if necessary.

Please note that this process will take as long as required to make sure your design is just right.

Once you are completely happy that I have interpreted your design correctly and you have placed your order for a commissioned journal cover, I will commence work on your project.

As soon as I have carved your design I will send you pictures so you can make your final decisions regarding colour.
