Celtic Cranes
Celtic Cranes
It was once thought that cranes embodied the spirits of people who were paying penance for their misdemeanours in life. They exist in many mythologies around the world and are often associated with justice. In some traditions they are credited with rescuing children, taking care of the poor and even bringing murderers to justice!
This traditional pair of Celtic cranes appear to be in confrontation but perhaps they are just comparing heights.
